Book of the Week – The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

I read a lot and my favorite genre of book is early 1900 literature. You probably can tell by the way I speak. back to Gatsby … This book was written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. He had an intense life himself (if you have time, look into him and his wife Zelda).

The Great Gatsby is about a man named Jay Gatsby who was so in love with a woman who would not marry him because he was poor, that he created a huge amount of wealth just to get her to love him again. The problem was, she was now married. If you love reading books about wealthy Americans, lavish lifestyles, parties, crime, love, and deceit this is the book for you.
