Here at APFemininty, we decided to make Jan self-care month. We will post 31 days of self-care suggestions.
I’m sure at this point we all have been told over and over that self-care is important. However, I have not seen anyone tell you that self-care should be included in your lifestyle. Self-care should be as common as showering. Throughout the month of Jan, we will provide simple yet effective ideas to engage in self-care.
Again, let us incorporate self-care as a lifestyle.
Self-Care Lifestyle Addition #1 Take an Early Morning Walk with God
Walking with God in the dawn hours helps you relax and sustain balance. Take deep breathes and become in tune with yourself. Carry a scripture with you and recite it while on the move. Take on a slow pace.

Time Length: Daily or a minimum 3x a week. Your walks do not have to be long. They can be as long as you would like them to be – 10 minutes to 10 hours. This is completely up to you.
Benefits:
You will feel a sense of relief and gratitude.
You will alleviate stress of daily activities and responsibilities.
Your connection with God will improve drastically. A closer bond is built. Faith is strengthen.
You will gain strength and clarity, because these come in moments of solitude.
